Made from 100% merino wool felt that has been manufactured in Germany, and with contrasting seams, the VLUV Velt Sitting Ball is a truly unique and eye-catching addition to any space.
The Vluv Velt Sitting Ball for Work can be used to actively sit on, rock and roll around or workout. As light as air and as comfortable as a cushioned chair, this seat helps you to sit actively, and has been certified as an 'ergonomic product' by the IGR eV (Association of Back School Teachers' Interests).
Designed with a keen eye to detail, these minimalist seating balls are super lightweight and have a handle for easy and safe transport. Thanks to its firm cover, it also has an improved upright seating position compared to a PVC ball, making it perfect for sitting on all day long. They are also more durable and safe thanks to the duoTHREAD double seams, unROLL feature which prevents the ball from rolling away too easily, and the double layer of ball and cover prevents size expansion and bursting of the ball. This careful detailing makes these otherwise simply beautiful balls a coherent seating concept as well.

The Hock team knows better than anyone that healthy sitting means active sitting. That began about 30 years ago with the use of PVC gymnastic balls in many offices. But those had disadvantages. They rolled away, were sticky, unwieldy, and unattractive. With a small and personal team, the Hock team set about creating solutions to the drawbacks of these original gymnastics balls and transformed a simple rubber ball into not only a comfortable piece of seating furniture but also a stunning minimalist design object.
Idyllically located next to a river in a centuries-old wool spinning mill, 40km east of Cologne, the sustainably-minded Hock team are committed to aesthetics, quality and innovation when designing their ergonomic, exercise and sports products.
How to Use
These stunning seating balls are designed for just that - sitting! But although they make the most comfortable, ergonomic and back-friendly seating, they also provide more than that. You can also use them to exercise, just as you would a regular PVC gymnastics ball. The cover can also be easily removed and rinsed in cold water or dry cleaned for your convenience.
